I’ve known Madison for many years now. She is an easy-breezy kind of girl. She is full of love and caring for those around her. But one of the things I love most about Madison is her silliness! She cracks me up regularly! But once someone holds up the camera, that all fades away and uneasiness replaces the fun. So prior to the session, I made a list of my favorite “prompts” or directions that would be fun and bring her real giggle without pressure in front of the camera. I also asked her mother to bring a list of funny family stories and other triggers to tickle her funny bone. And we used all of it!

Like her sister last year, Madison wanted to have her portrait session at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints temple in Snowflake, AZ. And I couldn’t have been more thrilled!

“Madison, can you look up and pretend to straighten your crown?”

Can I hear your “Madison” giggle?

So grateful for Madison’s mom! She was amazing with bringing out her daughter’s laughs!

Madison’s mom told me her daughter had a blast and felt like a princess during her session! Success!!

If the person in front of my camera doesn’t feel comfortable. Then there’s no point. I was so happy to hear not only did we get adorable photos, Madison had fun!
